Founded by Dr. Darnell Morgan, DSM brings together clinical knowledge, technical expertise, operational leadership, and a people-first consulting philosophy.

Meet our founder
Darnell Morgan, DNP
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Clinical perspective.
Executive purpose.
Darnell Morgan is a registered nurse, healthcare technology executive, nursing informatics professional, and U.S. Army National Guard veteran with more than 20 years of experience spanning healthcare delivery, clinical informatics, enterprise EHR transformation, organizational leadership, and technology consulting.
His professional background includes executive nursing informatics leadership, healthcare IT project management, enterprise EHR implementations, clinical workflow optimization, provider training, clinical quality reporting, and operational transformation.
He has worked with Epic, Oracle Health, NextGen Healthcare, Athenahealth, and other healthcare technology solutions.
His educational background includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nursing Administration, a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics, and undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Biology.
His leadership philosophy centers on creating space where none previously existed, developing future leaders, and demonstrating that real-world clinical expertise is a critical foundation for healthcare innovation.
